1. What have I learnt in this module? 

As an architecture student, I studied design principles to make an architectural model or concept. But in this module I learned it more in depth since it allowed me to research each individual principle and how to improve the look of each principle and elevate my design. That's super important in my future studies!

2. What did I enjoy the most? 

This module was one of the most interesting modules I took because there was no restriction. Unfortunately in architecture there is so much I can't do because of what the brief says and the restriction in it. In this module I could collage different artwork to make a new design, and personally I think that's what art is all about. 

 

3. What did I not enjoy the most?

This module was 7 weeks and probably I don't like that it lasted too fast! I felt like the research process was rushed and I couldn't really get more tutorial sessions to elevate my design deeper. 

4. What have I learnt about myself through this module?

I now have a new perspective on design because I analyse its design principles. Because I am so enthusiastic about design, I am quite picky about it and strive to make it flawless or get the intended goals. I frequently feel unable to articulate my views clearly. But through time I hope I can learn new ways to improve my ideas and explanations.

5. What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?

My tutor, Ms jinchi makes designing very fun because she taught me its not about how complicated a design is but it's about what the design is saying. Although the idea of making a more complicated design thinking that it will get me higher grades still engraved in my brain, I'll try to work on simplicity and concept.

6. What could be improved in this module?

Nothing, in my opinion, needs to be fixed. Everything in the module is excellent, especially the lecturer's comprehensive feedback. I found it simple to track the class's progress because the pre-recorded lectures' explanations were clear and quite informative. This module was also very relaxing because it was carried online and pre recorded lectures made it suitable for my schedule.
